Apply To The Jobs Catalyst Initiative
With the ongoing limitations to business and economic activities due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the St. Petersburg Foundation, together with its activation partner The St. Petersburg Group, offer the Jobs Catalyst Initiative to serve individuals, nonprofits and the community.
The Jobs Catalyst program provides support to:
- Area workers whose employment hours have been reduced or cut due to COVID-19 effects
- Area nonprofits who need additional people-power to meet rising demand.
- The community through the good work done by participant workers newly plugged into area nonprofits.
Through funding from local corporations and individuals, people whose work has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic can apply online for positions that are open immediately. The Jobs Catalyst program will then match individuals to available opportunities with local nonprofits.
New jobs are added regularly and include work from home and on-site options. All on-site jobs will be with organizations providing essential services and who have established protocols for a safe work environment.
Job examples include preparing meals, replacing staff out on sick leave, making social phone calls to isolated elderly, remote administrative work and more. A current list of jobs can be found on this opportunities board. For the time being, we’re accepting applications through this form instead of applying to each job individually.
